Poker tournament series are usually targeted towards high stakes players willing to shell out hundreds to thousands of dollars for tournament entry. Luckily, PokerStars looks to change all that with their MicroMillions poker tournament festival. For eleven days, PokerStars will host a low-stakes poker festival with buy-ins ranging from 11 cents to $22. Needless to say, the action will be absolutely unbelievable.

The tournament series will kick off on November 15th at 10:00 ET. The first event is scheduled to be a $0.11+rebuys No Limit Hold’em tournament with $10,000 guaranteed. Unlike other tournament series that only host two or three events per day, the MicroMillions will host 100 events within eleven days. That’s an average of more than nine tournaments per day with some days holding ten events. The MicroMillions will culminate on November 25 with its $22 NL Hold’em Main Event. There will be $1 million guaranteed by PokerStars which means the first place winner is guaranteed at least a $150,000 prize.

The MicroMillions tournament series was launched earlier this year and has become the most prestigious tournament event in low-stakes poker. As a matter of fact, the first MicroMillions festival was the most popular online poker tournament series of all-time with 1,294,883 registrants. Russia is the most active country in this tournament series with 424,732 entrants, 41 event winners, and 50,432 cash finishes totaling $2,325,527.77.
