Also, any player that wins a piece of the main pot will get their cash prize doubled. For example, Mark, Jesse, Ryan, and Dustin are playing four-handed and complete a millionth hand. Mark has earned 25 VPPs in the 50 hands prior to the millionth hand. His cash award is 25 * $50 + $50 = $1,250. Jesse earned the same amount of VPPs but won the pot so his prize is $2,500. As for the billionth hand, all players dealt into the hand will earn $500 for every VPP earned in the 50 hands prior, in addition to a base of $500 and entry to the $5,200 WCOOP Main Event on September 26. The winner of the hand will have his prize money doubled plus an extra $50,000.
For tournament players, PokerStars will be holding Super Sit & Go tournaments. These are 50-man tournaments that will run all day from September 10th to the 25th. There are five buy-in levels for these tournaments: $1.10, $5.50, $11, $22, and $55. Each buy-in level will be part of a final prize pool of $50,000. Every winner of the tournaments in that prize pool will receive an equal share of the $50,000. For example, there are 500 total winners at the $55 level at the end of the 15 days. Each of the 500 winners would win $100. If a player were to win two of these tournaments, his share would be $200.
Players that deposit during this celebration will be granted entry into one of the 50 Billion Depositor Freerolls. There are three freerolls in all with a $50,000 prize pool. They will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 09:15 ET, 15:15 ET, and 21:15 ET. They can be found under the Special tab in Tourneys.
