Rafael Nadal is one of the most recognizable faces in sports. The tennis superstar has won 11 Grand Slam titles and an Olympic gold medal. He looks to conquer another sport: poker. He has recently joined team PokerStars and is looking to improve his poker game. Nadal turns to the PokerStars community to help him get better at the game of poker.

A PokerStars press release by Rafael Nadal reads:

It’s no secret that I love to compete and try my very best in everything, whether that’s tennis, golf or video games. When I discovered the game of poker, I chose to join PokerStars because they understand what it takes to be the best and associate themselves with the qualities of champions.

From now until August 3rd, 2012, players will be able to submit videos featuring their best poker tips to Nadal via PokerStars. Everyone who submits a relevant video will be compensated with a $22 MicroMillions Main Event tourney ticket. Each week, Rafa will award prizes to the best videos which will be featured on the Pokertars website. Additionally, the player who most impresses Nadal will be given a European Poker Tour Barcelona prize package which includes a buy-in into the €5,300 Main Event, eight nights accommodation, and €1,500 in expenses. The winner and five runner-ups will be awarded with a chipset signed by Nadal himself.

Players can submit their video to [email protected] with their full name and PokerStars ID. Videos must be no longer than 30 seconds, no larger than 15MB, must be in MP4, .AVI, .FLV, .MOV, or .WMV format, and must be in English.
