November 11th 2009 – In his biggest live win to date RedKings Finnish Qualifier Ville Salmi scooped €100,000 by winning Estoril Live in Portugal this week.
Playing great poker throughout the Tournament Ville just let his cards do the talking especially dominating the final sessions with strong play and some aggressive Finnish poker play.
“It was a tough Final Table but I felt confident. The cards did come my way and I’m very happy now,” commented Ville after the win finally sank in.
The most important hand of the day came when Ville was heads up against his fellow Finnish player Teemu Kangasvieri, both were all-in and Ville held 99 vs Saperes Q9. The table didn’t show any Queens which gave Ville the pot and the title!
