SCOOP 2013

The Spring Championship Of Online Poker started on Sunday, and we already have 2 days of information to catch you up with. The SCOOP format is the same as last year, with each Event having a Low, Mid and High buy in tournament.

SCOOP 01 High (6-Max NLHE) was won by Benny “toweliestar” Spindler, and the two day event had 848 entrants all paying the $2,100 to make the $1,696,000. The 2011 London EPT Champion won $301,040 after defeating the Finnish “€urop€an” in the heads up matchup.

SCOOP 01 Low was won by “Reshafim87” for $65,761.35, and the Mid event was won by Australia’s “12ziz12”, who added $132,114.57 to his online account.

Last year’s winner of the 2012 “Player of the Series” and five lifetime SCOOP titles, Shaun Deeb is also back in the mix again. He was challenging for his sixth title in SCOOP 04 High (Badugi), but fell at the final hurdle and lost out heads up to Paul “paulgees81” Volpe, who was fresh off winning a €10k 6-Max NLHE side event at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. Deeb’s close call with his sixth title earned him $23,500, while Volpe pocketed $34,780 from the $2,100 buy in event.

Scoop04 Low’s title and $9,513 was taken by the UK’s “Roxie Hart”, and the winner of the Mid event was Russian “HatePkr”, who had a $12,480 payday.

SCOOP 05 High was won by Ana Marquez, and the $1050 rebuy event generated her a first place prize of $255,035.10 to go with her first SCOOP Title watch. Marquez went into the heads up battle with a 4:1 chip lead, and soon “TIPCHIK321” shoved with Qs3, and Marquez snap called with 6c6s. The board ran out 7s8dJh 6d Ks which only improved Marquez to three of a kind to win the tournament

SCOOP 05 Mid was shipped by “Hope_Flooky” for $132,704, and the Low event was won by Belgian “JacktShipper” for $58,291.29.
