SCOOP 2013

SCOOP 2013

Today, we have the results from the weekend, and tomorrow we’ll be catching you up on all the action from beginning of the week.

SCOOP 15 Mid ($82) saw a 30 hour marathon NLHE Ante Up event come to a close with a four way deal. 1,794 players had started, 234 got a return on their investment, and the final four chopped $58631.07 between them. “ex6tenceLV” took home the most with $16,124.22 to go with his SCOOP title and watch.

PokerStars Team pro George “Jorj95” Lind III made the final table of the High ($700) tournament but failed to win in the heads up match, coming second behind a previous SCOOP winner in the format, “JIZOINT” who won $50,827.76 to go with his second title.

“JAIMEHUNT83” took the low ($7.50) event for a $7,465.80 payday after a five way deal.

Given the recent resurgence of Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, I was surprised to see the numbers for SCOOP 16 were so small. With only 2,953 players stumping up the $27 for the low event won by “holako” for $11,456.32 and 657 paying $215 for the Medium event that ended up being Chopped heads up between “thefish01x” ($22,142.49) and “Kid Blaast”($20,234.01), it seemed smaller than I was expecting.

The High event was even smaller at 129 entrants, but the $2,100 price tag couldn’t have been described as pocket change. Anders “Donald” Berg won this one for $64,500.

“JIZOINT” was back at the final table of SCOOP 18 High ($2,100) for the 10-Max Shootout. He again made it to the heads up battle, but this time wasn’t able to scale his way all the way to the top of the mountain, and came in second to Shawn “buck21” Buchanan who took home $118,800 for the win.

The Low was won by “Cem1994” for $23,588.18 and the Mid was taken by “reelhugefish” for a win of $32,727.67.

Vanessa Rousso turned up at the SCOOP 20 final table. This $2,100 Zoom event ended up being won by “T 54 97s” for a very healthy $177,699.40. She seems to be on a nice SCOOP run with this being her second deep run so far this series

The $215 SCOOP 20 Mid event was won by “andrekos0095” for $83,834.91 while the Low was spilt in a four way deal, with “Rkdel” taking home the title and the watch to go with his $27,402.13.

Tomorrow we’ll be looking at the events from this week, and an update about the SCOOP leader boards.
