This past weekend was a great weekend for poker, as Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS 8 is knee deep into the series, with enormous prize pools being paid out. It was quite the Sunday, as a huge name took down the Sunday Warmup on Poker Stars.

First things first. The biggest tournament yesterday by far, was the $322 FTOPS #9 Event on Full Tilt Poker, which had a $1.5 million dollar guarantee. 5,090 players showed up, all vying for the $263k first place prize. After over eleven hours of play, _FlaXmarZ_ was able to take the crown, and the extremely impressive $263k.

The Sunday Million on Poker Stars saw a slight drop off this week, with 6856 entrants showing up, vying for the biggest weekly prizepool in online poker. However, this still created an over $193k first prize, which is still very, very amazing. The most notable player at the final table was HelmetSky, a well-known cash gamer.

One of the most popular and toughest tournament players online took down the Sunday Warmup on Poker Stars. Shaun Deeb, who’s long been known for his multi-tabling skills, outlasted the field, and took home his first six figure cash, ever. Congratulations to Shaun.

This week the $5.2k freezeout on Poker Stars attracted the full 20 players, and was won unchopped as well! One of the very best players in the world took it down, as Daniel “Steamraise” Alaei won it for the full $100k. Truly impressive.

The $256 Sunday Brawl on Full Tilt Poker saw 1329 players show up, aiming for the nearly $60k first place prize. After it was all said and done, chickface outlasted the field, and was able to claim first place.
