This is the fourth installment of “This Week at FlopTurnRiver” – a brand new series of posts outlining what events, promotions and news are happening during the upcoming week on FlopTurnRiver.

FlopTurnRiver Gauntlet X Game #9

With just 2 games to go, this series of the Gauntlet is nearly over. A special mention goes to joker131, NightGizmo, Hoopy, supa and Sloomer as the only 5 people of 30 to have played every event so far – great effort guys! Each player’s best 8 scores count, with the other 2 ignored, so everyone else still has a chance to catch up even if they missed a couple of weeks!

If you haven’t played yet, why not come and play this week anyway? We’ve got a fun structure and it’s always good fun and friendly. And as some extra incentive, there’s a $10 bounty on me (Pascal) this week for whoever knocks me out! Let’s just say this wasn’t my idea and I’m already kinda scared…

Two Special Tournaments this Sunday!

This week we’ve got two special tournaments – it’s close to Christmas so consider these a couple of little presents from us, to you!

The first is a $5 tournament on PartyPoker with a lot of added value – $600 cash and a $215 tournament ticket to be precise! It’s going to be easy to get the password through our Facebook and Google+ pages and everyone’s welcome! Check out the thread here.

The second is a freeroll at Pokerstars with a guaranteed $500 prize pool! The top 50 players will get entry into a $10 Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure satellite which will in turn award 6 packages worth $16,000 each! There’s been big overlays in these and there’s a chance to freeroll your way to a massive $1.5m top prize in the PCA Main Event so make sure you’re in! This tournament needs at least 50 players to run so tell your friends, family, strangers, anyone really. Click here for the details

Floral Arrangements

As you might have noticed, we’ve moved some of the subforums around a bit at the beginning of this week. There are two big changes: the Community is back to the top after a length absence, and FTR Announcements has been split from FTR Events and moved to where the Community was last week. We hope this will make it easier to see what’s going on! If you’ve got any thoughts or feedback, we’d love to hear from you.
