FTR is a little like a family. There are the people you are close to, and care and cherish for, and then there are the annoying distant cousins (think internet trolls). There are also big family feasts, and small intimate dinners.

This week is small intimate dinner, filled with small, delicate, yet full of flavour morsels, beautifully arranged on the plate that is this article:

FTR Member Only Tournaments this Week:

Our Canadian and American cousins get the first delicious morsel this week, in the form of the Bovada/Bodog FTR Satellite for the Black Diamond Open Main Event. We have got 1 Seat Guaranteed, and with the Buy In standing at $3 + $0.30 not only could this be one of the cheapest ways to get a seat, it could be one of the easiest.

We only had 100 players for the freeroll last week, so your chances in this event have to higher than an open satellite.

The Event starts at 20:05ET, and is named as BDPO FlopTurnRiver Freeroll

Full Tilt and PokerStars Fighting it out.

As you may have seen from our new feed, Full tilt and PokerStars are each putting forward a 3 man team to play each other at EPT London. It’s going to be a best of 3 matches, with each match being a best of 3 heads up SnG, and it’s all going to be played on Full Tilt Poker.

Full Tilt are making the most of the event with a promotion based on it. You can earn up to $100 in cash, and entry to 3 $10,000 freerolls if you are able to guess who will win each match. All you need to do is make a deposit, or transfer to Full Tilt of at least $10 before the end of Saturday this week.

You can read more about the promotion here.

FTR at EPT London

FTR is going to be at EPT London, and we are going to be bringing you videos from the venue of interviews with some of the big names of poker.
If you want to meet up with me (yes, I’m the guy going), I’ve posted a thread on the forums. Post in there if you’d like to come and meet me, and if you’re lucky, I might let you buy me a drink.

If you have any questions on these events, or you want to set me up on a blind date with Liv Boeree (I’m sure the Mrs won’t mind too much), please visit the forum thread for this week’s post.
