It’s that time of the week again when we point you in the direction of extra value to help you in your quest as a poker player. This week is mainly going to focus on the great value from the continuing PokerStars 100 Billion hand promotions, but we also have some great leads for  tournaments with an overlay, and a chance to ask one of the world’s leading Tournament Directors anything you wish.

Golden Sit $ Go Giveaway

As part of the PokerStars 100 Billion Hand celebration, PokerStars are showing the love to Sit & Go players as well as the cash grinders. Players can earn up to 10 buy-ins automatically if the Sit & Go is selected to turn golden. The prize pool for the event will also be multiplied by up to 10 times, to make winning one of these even more fun.

You can read more on the Golden Sit & Go’s here.

$1,000,000 Guaranteed Zoom Tournament gets it’s first outing

Another part of the 100 Billion Hand celebration is the launch of the first Zoom 100. the $1,000,000 guaranteed event is going to take place on Sunday at 13:00ET (18:00UK). the Buy in is $109, and first place has a $100,000 guarantee as well.

The Zoom format should make this a fast a furious event, and if the $109 is a little rich for you, there are satellites starting from $1. You can find out more about the event here.

Full Tilt MTOPS Offering Overlays

The Full Tilt Poker MTOPS series is into it’s second week, and amazingly, some of the events aren’t making their guarantees. This opens up a real opportunity for the canny poker player, where they can get more value than they’d expect for their buy in. These overlays can add several thousand dollars of value to an event, and with this series being all low buy ins, this could be the situation to build your bankroll.

The Main Event is scheduled for Sunday, and has a $1 Million guarantee for just a $14+1 buy in. With over 70,000 entries needed to meet the guarantee, I’m expecting this event to be chock full of value. Pop over here for more info.

FTR Forum Regular, Max Steinberg, is Heads Up for a WSOP Title

Max Steinberg has been an FTR member since August 2006, and already has one WSOP bracelet, as well as making another WSOP final table already this year. The man is on fire, and we at FTR wish him all the best in a blatant case of partiality that is likely to get my journalist credentials taken off me!

The Live stream is taking place on WSOP.com at 15:00pst (23:00UK), and all you need to do is follow this link to watch it.

Matt Savage is Coming to FTR for an AMA

World class Tournament Director Matt Savage is coming to FTR to answer your questions. In the latest of FTR AMA series, Matt is going to be answering pretty much anything you want in regards to his poker career.

Head on over to the forum thread to ask a question, or you can have a look at a few early answers he’s given us over here.

Continuing Daily WSOP Coverage

FTR is going to be continuing it’s News Coverage of the WSOP, and we have pretty much every angle covered. We have a report from every final table, and daily updates on the rest of the action. In addition to Max Steinberg, we’ve also sent a FTR player to Las Vegas with the William Hill promotion we ran earlier in the month, and we’re trying to line up an interview to give you a little of the flavour from the Rio. Keep an eye on the news stream for more info.

As you can see from all that, it’s going to be a busy week, I’m going to go and start preparing for all the action. If you have any questions about the action this week, come over to the forum thread, and I’ll see what I can do about answering them.
