It seems like only yesterday that Titan Poker celebrated its Billionth hand and awarded pot-loads of cash to their players and right now, quite steadily, they’re now approaching the TWO BILLIONTH HAND!
The countdown (and with it the cash prize giveaway) begins at cash table hand ID 1,990,000,000 and will reward ALL players who participate in ALL hands referred to as “Golden Hands” and “Platinum Hands.”
What are Golden Hands?
Golden Hands occur every 500,000 hands (as per consecutive hand ID’s) and each time prizes will be shared between the winner of the Golden Hand and the other players seated at the same table.
In actuality, every Golden Hand winner wins in FOUR ways:
* As expected, by outplaying opponents and winning the hand.
* Bonus cash prizes will be awarded for the esteem of winning a “Golden Hand.”
* The winner of the hand receives a share of the same cash prize amount with the other players in that hand.
* A token (worth $535) will also be awarded to the Monthly Million Guaranteed Tournament, taking place on Jan 10 2010.

With that out of the way, what are Platinum Hands?
Similarly to the Golden Hands above, Platinum Hands occur every 2,500,000 hands (as per consecutive hand ID’s). Prizes will be split amongst the hand winner and all of the participating players at the table.
Again, the winner of the hand wins in FOUR ways, only this time – the prizes are doubled as per the table below:

Two Billionth Hand Prizes
The player who manages to win the Two Billionth Hand will be suitably rewarded with $60,000 in prizes, including:
* Approximately $40,000 in cash
* WSOP 2010 Main Event package (worth approx. $13,000)
* Irish Open 2010 package (worth approx. $7,000)
In addition, the winner of the Two Billionth Hand will be entitled to a share of the $40,000 in cash which will be split between the other participating players, as well as the following incredible prizes:
* A $535 seat at the Monthly Million Guaranteed Tournament on Jan 10, 2010
* A place in the Bubble Hands Freeroll (detailed below)
* A $1,580 seat at the ECOOP V Main Event on Dec 6, 2009 (providing that the Two Billionth Hand is dealt no later than Dec 5, 2009)
But wait, there is more! There must be a freeroll in there somewhere, and indeed, there is!
Players who participate in the final 100 hands, up to and including the Two Billionth Hand (hand ID’s 1,999,999,901 – 2,000,000,000) will be eligible to participate in the Bubble Hands freeroll, where 20 seats will be up for grabs for January’s Monthly Million Guaranteed tournament (Jan 10, 2010).
To make things more interesting, there will be an additional bounty of $2,000 paid out for successfully knocking-out the winner of the Two Billionth Hand. Should the same player win both the Two Billionth Hand AND the Bubble Hands freeroll, that player will be entitled to the bounty prize.
Although the date is still to be confirmed, the Bubble Hands freeroll will be played on a Sunday, at least one week after the Two Billionth Hand has been dealt.
N.B: The nickname of the bounty player will be changed for the duration of the tournament to ensure that he or she can be easily identified.
