Tom “durrrr” Dwan is to be featured in a series of new Full Tilt Poker commercials.
The sneak peek can be seen on the Full Tilt website. In addition to durrrr, the commercial features Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, and Chris Ferguson. The commercial conveys the importance of developing your own, unique playing style. In it, Dwan implies that he mimicked Hansen’s aggression, Ivey’s intimidation, and Ferguson’s calculated playing style before cultivating his own approach to the game.
Dwan’s results speak for themselves. Since his humble beginnings playing $6 Sit and Gos in 2007, durrrr has crushed nose bleed cash games on Full Tilt Poker. The 23 year old Dwan issued his infamous Durrrr Challenge in early 2009. Later that year he joined the ranks of Team Full Tilt alongside players such as Jennifer Harman and Patrik Antonius. Currently, Tom Dwan is dominating Antonius, the first contender in the Durrrr Challenge, to the tune of nearly $2 million.
