The World Series of Poker Main Event field has dwindled down to the final two tables, with not one but two women players remaining in the event. Gaelle Baumann of France and Elisabeth Hille of Norway are both trying to make history as only the second female player to ever make the final table of the WSOP Main Event. The last and only time this happened was back in 1995 when Barbara Enright finished 5th. Annie Duke had a near miss in 2000 when she went out on the final table bubble, finishing 10th overall.

Both women are mostly unknown in the poker scene, as are the male players who remain. The last well known pro to go out was Paul Vople of the United States, who finished in 20th place and received $294,601 for his efforts.

At this time the remaining 15 players are on a 90-minute dinner break. Jacob Balsiger is in the lead with 25.7 million chips, Elisabeth Hille is currently in 11th with 8.8 million chips and Gaelle Baumann is sitting in 14th with 3.6 million chips.
