Genting is running another of it’s Genting Poker Series events, this time in the pottery capital of the world, Stoke-on-Trent.

The £100k guaranteed event has a £400 + £40 buy in, and currently has 120 players registered, but you still have time to satellite in with a £50+£5 feeder on the Genting iPoker skin. This last satellite runs on Tuesday at 8pm, and has 20 seats guaranteed.

Last year, Yucei Eminoglu took first place, with the prize pool standing at £192,800, we’ll have to wait for Sunday to see who ends up with the title this year.

 

GUKPT Manchester

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is off to another casino, this time they are off to the sunny climate of Manchester.

The “G” Casino in Bury New Street is holding the event, and the festival starts on Sunday.

The satellites are available in the casino from Sunday, with £30, no reg fee, rebuy turbo tournaments at 4pm next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is also a 10 seat guaranteed £30 + £5 rebuy satellite on Sunday at 19:30. The big one is next Wednesday, as the casino is running a super satellite with a £150 + £15 buy in starting at half eight.

As you can see, there is no excuse not to satellite your way into the event.

 

WCOOP

The 2013 World Championship of Online Poker started onPokerStars on Sunday, and the 66 event series is guaranteed to pay out at least $40,000,000 in prize money.

Satellites are available on the PokerStars Client right now, and the events themselves start from $109 and go all the way up to $10,300, so you  can play as a baller, or a super high roller baller if you have the inclination.

The winners of the WCOOP events will also get a bracelet to show off that they are one of the online poker elite.

 

FlopTurnRiver.com WCOOP Freeroll

FTR and PokerStars have got together to offer FTR members a freeroll where the top 18 placed finishers will all receive tickets to WCOOP events.

The top nine players will get a ticket to WCOOP Event #22 worth $215 each. Event #22 has a $1.25 Million guarantee, and will most likely break that.

The player who finish in places 10 to 18, will be receiving $109 tickets for WCOOP Event #19, which has a $750k guarantee.

The freeroll is taking place on PokerStars on Thursday at 9pm WET (4pm ET), and will be password protected, and we’ll be releasing the password for those who get involved in this thread.

In comparison with the PokerStars, Full Tilt is offering a much smaller buy in series in the form of the MiniFTOPS, where the buy ins range from $10 + $1 and go up to $200 + $15. The series is going to payout at least $3,000,000 in prizes, and the winner r of the Leaderboard competition is going to earn a prize package that is worth about $12,000, and also comes with a custom Avatar for the winner as well.

The events cover the full spread of games offered by the site, and added value prizes include the usual silver jersey for the winners, and all players making a MiniFTOPS final table will get a limited edition jacket.
