Everest Poker is giving you a chance to get a front row seat to the Montesino Poker Grand Slam in Vienna. The €400,000 guaranteed Main Event began on Wednesday, December 9th and will continue into Saturday, December 12th. It is the largest guaranteed prize pool ever to be offered at a live event in Austria and has proven itself to be quite eventful, and you can catch all the action from the comfort of your own home. Everest Poker is streaming the event live on their blog.
Even more is that Everest Poker will be giving out passwords in 30 minute intervals for a $2,000 freeroll which will take place on Sunday, December 13th at 18:00 GMT. Be sure to watch the action so you don’t miss out on the password!
As of now, 19 of the 258 original participants are left at the final table, all trying to get the first place prize of the €516,000 prize pool. After a total of 10 hours of play today, the players have been given a break and will resume the play tomorrow at 14:00 with blinds set at 5000/10000 with a 1000 ante.
A slew of poker pros showed up for the event. Harry Casagrande, Ivo Donev, Frank D., Andrew Eiler, Julian Herold, Sebastian Homann, Stefan Jedlicka, Erich Kollmann, Andreas Krause, Thomas Kremser, Florian Langmann, Henry Nowakowski, Jörg Peisert, Voitto Rintala, Antoine Saout, Sigi Stockinger, and Kim Wooka could all be found on the registration list. Unfortunately, Kim Wooka of Team Everest wasn’t able to make it past today, but she still did cash in a good €3000 for her effort!
