UKIPT Galway heading to the Man Event Finale

The Full Tilt Poker sponsored UK & Ireland Poker Tour event in Galway is heading ever closer the Main Event. Thursday sees the start of Day 1a, and you still have time to play for a seat on PokerStars and Full Tilt.

The Main Event has a €1,000,000 Guaranteed prize pool, and I have seen rumours on social media that people in the know are expecting an overlay. If you have the €1000 + €100 available from your bankroll, if you’re looking for value you could do worse than to head to Galway.

Bolton prepares for GUKPT

Bolton is the birthplace of the GUPT, and it’s coming home again in 2013. The main event is a £500 + £50 tournament, with a £50,000 guarantee, as is the same for all these events. It starts on Thursday, and given the clash with the UKIPT Main Event, should be remarkably devoid of players with big tournament pedigree.

For those of you in the Bolton area with smaller wallets, the side event schedule is packed full, and has events starting at just £30.

VicCasino Loyalty Bonus Event on Sunday

If you play in the VictoriaCasino in London, you’ll probably already know about their loyalty bonuses events. With the tickets only on sale from 10am on Friday, they are expecting this event to sell out. With a £500 + £50 buy in, it should create a very tasty prizepool, and with the Event taking place on Sunday, a lot of players will either be online playing the majors, or may still be over in Galway for the UKIPT. In either case, if you qualify for the event, and can afford the steeper price, it could be a very profitable night for you.

Dusk Till Dawn holds £50 Deepstack Mini with £50k Gtd

Dusk Till Dawn rightly has the reputation of being one of the best Poker Venues, not only in the UK, but in Europe. Going with that reputation is their schedule of poker tournaments, and this week sees a Deepstack Mini topping the bill. The £50,000 guaranteed event has a £50 + £10 buy in, whether online at the Dusk Till Dawn iPoker Skin, or at the casino. With Thursday and Friday’s Day 1s being online, and Saturday’s Day 1 being in the poker room, this offers a chance for both online grinders and live specialists.
