The World Series of Poker execs have released the schedule for the latest running of their annual extravaganza.

Here are some raw numbers to chew on: The 42nd running of the WSOP will feature 58 different tournaments, with nearly every form of the game on display. More than $180,000,000 in prize money will be handed out before all is said and done, spread between players of 115 different nations. The gaming heads state that 380 tables are being set up to accommodate the players, over the 100,000 square feet of the Rio. Buy-ins will be available from $500 all the way up to $50,000.

Event #2 – May 31: Heads-Up NLHE Championship ($25,000)
Event #7 – June 3: Pot Limit HE Championship ($10,000)
Event #16 – June 9: 2-7 Lowball Championship ($10,000)
Event #37 – June 21: H.O.R.S.E. Championship ($10,000)
Event #42 – June 24: Pot Limit Omaha Championship ($10,000)
Event #46 – NLHE Six-Max Championship ($10,000)
Event #55 – The Poker Player’s Championship ($10,000)
Event #58 – Main Event NLHE Championship ($10,000)

Besides their regularly scheduled events, the WSOP will also be holding a variety of smaller contests. According to their website, organizers have laid down plans to offer “24-hour cash games, single-table and mega-satellite daily tournaments, as well as thrice-daily No Limit Hold’em tournaments priced as low as $135.”

Covering the event, as usual, will be the film crews from ESPN. There are several ways to register, but the most common is still to simply show up and sign in. No doubt seats will be available through most of the large poker sites, so keep an eye out for special tournaments.
