It was just a couple of weeks ago that XWINK, an anonymous poker player from Vancouver, Canada, became part of a big discussion at poker forums because of his continuous get-rich-quick success stories. Some forum members believe that he could be the next “Isildur1” by his risky, fearless behavior. He had climbed all the way to $2 million in four days starting with just a $4k bankroll. XWINK would later go on to lose over $1 million of that in just one day and cash out half of the rest.
His newest story is actually pretty unfortunate for him. After withdrawing around $500k, he made sure to keep his promise of entertaining his railing fans and playing the nosebleeds. XWINK went on to play “arbianight” heads-up in the 200/400 and 100/200 PLO limits until his FullTilt account seemingly went busto this past March 14th.
With his mind still set on playing and not wanting to wait a week before depositing, he has resorted to asking high stakes players for loans; at the poker table (according to pokernyhyderne.com)! This kind of behavior is rarely seen by higher stakes players as most are familiar enough with each other to talk privately.
From chat logs, XWINK first tried asking player “Rui Cao” to send him a loan so they can still play. Rui Cao denied his requests and replied that he was “too tired anyway” to play.
