Default $10PL, river with 3rd nuts

Villain hadn't done anything at the table. min-3bet on flop was typical small stakes "monster" line. Damn 4 had to come on the turn...

    MP ($6.50)
    Button ($6.65)
    SB ($15.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, 4, 2, Q. MP posts a blind of $0.10.
1 fold, MP (poster) checks, Button calls $0.10, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($0.40) K, K, J (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $0.1, Button folds, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.6, MP raises to $1.1, Hero calls $0.50.

    Turn: ($2.60) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $0.9, Hero calls $0.90.

I dont play much shorthanded, but all you really beat here is AKxx and JJxx. I probably find a fold.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

    Nice suck-out. Take his money.

Next time fold the flop or get it in on the turn.

Better advice ^ If you're going to play it, donk betting full pot on the turn is is probably best, though a check-raise has merit since he seems to want to play a big pot. We don't want to let KT96 type hands get a cheap/free shot to re-suck out on our weak 2nd nuts.

Given the way the flop was played, I think there is very little risk of the turn check through and a c/r gets all of the money in.
