Default Barry Greenstein on how to set Ad Jd 8c 8s 3h and Ah Qh Js 9s 2c

This https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...xyJDDe8A#t=586 video is a great tutorial.

Barry explains to Joe that this is the right set for Ad Jd 8c 8s 3h:

One should be asking what happens if I get a card that pairs me? Is it going to be good for me or bad for me?

If we go with the set below then when we get a jack then we're already scrambling. We don't want to set ourselves up where our 2 pair in the middle will potentially be higher than our 2 pair in the back.

Later in the video he uses Ah Qh Js 9s 2c to explain fantasy land. He sets it like this:

yeah we're looking to make a pair of aces in the middle and have jacks up or trip eights on the bottom. Alternatively we can go for 2 small pair in the middle if we don't pair the ace, i.e. 3s and 4s or something.

I also like to set potential wheel draws in the middle in case we develop a monster on the bottom.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
