Default Did I play this hand too weak?

    Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, A.
6 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

    Flop: (4.33 SB) A, 6, 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls.

    Turn: (6.16 BB) 2 (2 players)
    BB bets, Hero calls.

    River: (8.16 BB) 4 (2 players)
    BB bets, Hero calls.

    Final Pot: 10.16 BB

    Results in white below:
BB has Ac 8c (one pair, aces).
Hero has Kh Ad (one pair, aces).
    Outcome: Hero wins 10.16 BB.

It's hard for me to raise here on the turn knowing some of the wierd hands people defend their blinds with that could have given him 2 pair or he could have trips, but should I have raised the turn once?

Got a read on the BB?

Since it's a blind war I'm more compelled to bump it one more time on a big street.

I would have raised the turn for sure no doubt in my mind... depending on what happened on the turn is what my play would be on the river...

    Good hand to post.

Some may think his play was too agressive, but considering your raise was a potential blind steal, I think he was wise to cap it. If he is a thinking player, he probably would not have been as aggressive if you rasied from UTG to late MP.

Your calls on the turn and river are probably frustating for both of you (no info). I agree with the other posters to raise the turn. if you are rasied back, call, and then just call the river.

You need to have some real groin hammers to raise late street after he capped the flop. I call this one down, pop a viagra, and cry myself to sleep.

Lets go back to preflop and walk though the hand, preflop Hero raised, bb simply called, would he call in this position with about anything or is he capable of laying down rags even if it is a blind steal? Would he call on Ax (most likely), is this a player that will play about any two suited cards in this spot?

Flop: he didn't show THAT strong a hand preflop my guess assuming he is a player that like Ax, and maybe he is slow playing a KK (I doubt this very much) hand that would be a mistake, since there was no raise by him preflop I have to have him on some marginal to weak hand, which makes me thing with his flop betting and aggression that he has at least top pair (maybe a draw if he is supper aggressive)

Turn: By not raising here when he bets out I think is a mistake because if he reraise you do you really think that he would 3bet a draw? Or a top pair middle kicker when you have soon aggression on the next round? Do you think he has a connector that he wanted to see a flop with but why cap on the draw? I think a bet here helps you gauge where you stand in the hand...

River as I said before if he doesn't raise the turn I think your play on the river is dependent on what happened on the turn...

So now that I have step though it in my head I now see that he had an Ax which was if you notice a hand I put him on since a lot of player over value the Ax this is very reasonable IMO to think...

If anyone disagrees with me I would be happy to hear you opinions...

I agree with Fnord here. Its a 'blind steal' and the guy flopped top pair, its a good move by him. If I were you I would have called his reraise on the flop and raise him on the turn, at least in the future (you would have gotten the same money in this situation but most of the time you'll get yourself an extra small bet). He was wrong to cap his hand, severly overvaluation.

You did play timidly but I wouldn't worry too much about it. No one likes to play aggressively without the near nuts against someone who just capped.

Blind war, I pop the turn, could easily have Ax and you got that beat. If anything pop the turn and check behind on the river if he just calls. Blind wars get heated sometimes, half the time with next to nothing.

It really depends on who your up against. Some people refuse to raise out of position with less than 2-pair. Some people will get raised preflop holding Ax, hit an Ace on the flop and then raise you all over the place assuming you don't have Ace face. The way to proceed has everything to do with the skill and aggression of the player in question. Even if he is loose aggressive holding Ax, you gotta feel nauseas pushing him hard to keep him honest after a capped flop.
