Default I hate it when they do this to me...

UTG+1 has been kinda quiet over the last couple orbits. I have him at ~25% VP$IP and a pretty low PFR.

The table has gotten sour and this is my last orbit.

    Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

    Preflop: Fnord is MP2 with K, T.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Fnord raises, 4 folds, UTG+1 3-bets, Fnord calls.

    Flop: (7.33 SB) 2, 3, T (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets, Fnord calls.

    Turn: (4.66 BB) 3 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Fnord bets, UTG+1 raises, Fnord calls.

    River: (8.66 BB) 2 (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets, Fnord calls.

    Final Pot: 10.66 BB

Fnord, when people bet a ragged flop and then check the turn, do you usually see this as weakness or a c/r trap? I admit I would have bet too, because I usually interpret the flop bet as a steal try when they check the turn. Also, when you do get check raised, do you think it better to just fold HU on the turn? He did raise pre-flop after all ... considering the preflop raise, maybe checking the turn was wiser ... many people will have JJ or better to 3bet preflop.

I put UTG+1 on any pockets smaller than TT or AA KK maybe QQ or AKs here.

On the flop you got chekraised from EP. I can only think of a few holdings that I'll checkraise with preflop. (AA KK)

However since this one goes heads up, say he limped 77, 88 or 99 and the hand goes HU well then I might just be 3-betting just like he did.

This chekraising should make you somewhat careful I think, but I too bet out on a checked turn with TPGK.

I just can't seem to figure what to do with the raise though. Is it woth calling two more bigbets..?

Yeah, like over 75% of the time it's something like this. However, this guy could be a member of the "I don't raise unpaired offsuit hands" club. I'm quite certain I'm ahead until he c/rs the turn. Quite often that's someone getting cute with AA/KK/TT, however it also could be playing back at me out of spite. Getting isolated really put a bug up this guys butt.
