$200NL (2/3 blinds) PF strategy

Hi, I'm currently having problems beating my local $200NL game at the casino. The game can easily be described as loose-passive, with 7+ players regularly limping to see the flop. Typical pfr's are $15 - $20, where you'd still get often 4 or 5 players calling. I guess Im looking for some advice on how to adjust my pre-flop strategy which will allow me get closer to beating the game and to avoid making mistakes which I may not have considered.

So with a $200 stack and villian makes $20 pfr, do I still have odds to see a flop with a hand like suited or one-gap connectors with 3 callers in front of me if Im in late position? Im getting about about 4 - 1 on my call, but does my stack size mean I throw this hand away, or do my implied odds allow me to play it? You see, after calling a few of these raises and missing the flop, my stack size quickly drops down to where Im forced to wait for bigger hands before I can play. Is my thinking too tourney-oriented?

Conversely, if I have a hand like AK in EP and I raise to $20, i'll still get 4+ callers (calling begets more calling) no matter how tight my image might be. Should I be raising more to try to get headsup or at worst 3way, where my AK will play better? If I bump it up to, say, $30, I'll get everyone folding and I win $5 in blinds, which is not ideal. Do I have to compensate for the table's general looseness and put more money in the pot whilst my hand rates to be the favourite (no matter how small that may be)?

I think you need to keep track of the average pot size. If it's 5 people seeing a flop then all folding to one bet, then you don't have implied odds for suited connectors really. But if it's 5 to the flop, one bets mid pair another min raises top pair, a third min raises two pair, and they all call all in when someone raises a str8, then you have implied odds. The real average pot size would be in between, but I'm just thinking that kind of number gives an ok base for implied odds calculation. Of course, if the pot is so big because of 1-2 big stacks, and they aren't in the hand this time, then you won't have implied odds for that hand because they aren't in the hand.

For raising to isolate, don't get discouraged if raising gets all folds...if it gets 1-2 calls some % of the time and all folds another % it will work out fine.

Anyway those are my thoughts for now. It sounds like a great place to just make good hands and bet hard.
