We won’t expect an opponent like this to raise the flop on a bluff too often in this situation because he thinks our range is so strong, so we don’t have to worry about him exploiting a weak betting range.

Let me see if I understand this right... delayed cbets with our strongest hands vs this guy can often be more +EV than firing the flop since he folds so often and only plays back with better hands. Instead, we should consider cbetting with the bottom of our range since he'll often fold a better hand making a bluff +EV. This is simply the fundamental theorem of poker, no?

The point I was making is that he's not going to exploit us if we are folding a high percentage to raises.

As for the situation itself, it's a bit more complicated than the fundamental theorem of poker. We're looking to play each hand in our range in a way that maximizes its EV, and sometimes that requires us to bet hands we would typically check or check hands we would typically bet in a c-betting scenario.

What are the percentages of being able to hit a flop? For example 56s, 2p tris fh etc odds? I see you use them implicitly in your post, but is there a table somewhere I can reference for common types of hands?

There are pieces of software out there that can do the calculations for a specific hand hitting a flop in different ways. However, I just calculate how ranges hit flops by hand in these articles.

Ok this was basically what I was looking for, thanks. Equilab only gives odds to the river that is why I asked.
