Default 10NL AA | is this a weak spew or a decent shove

Villain f@unt4eva is a 72 | 36 and villain PeskieIsSexy is 32 | 11. I thought about pushing all-in pre-flop but felt there should be one other caller before such an early push. On the flop I thought that only 4 hands have me...22 33 44 and A5 and I decided most players would not set-mine for $2, therefore they more likely have a big pair like QQ KK maybe JJ or AKs. I personally decided to shove on the turn. Is this a reasonable play vs such a loose player? Is there a more optimal way to play it?

    thanks

    Hero bets $3, f@unt4eva calls $3

Why even post this? It's a complete no-brainer.

If this were at a Brick and Morter casino, i would bet $4.85 leaving him a quarter to go use the pay phone and call his mom to come and pick him up and drive him back home to his single wide.

He turned over A5 is why I posted. So I was wondering if I should of been more careful...not because of the A5 so much but because loose players might of had 22 33 44? I feel better hearing it's more cut and dry then I thought.

Falls into the shit happens and more often when playing with shitty players. Do it a hundred times and you're a $90 ahead!

    I agree with your assumptions.

With a preflop raise of $2, you're not making set mining worth it for them. The general guide for set mining is you need to win 15-20x what you paid to make money in the long run, and at least 10x to break even. So you're right about that.

I would also only really expect to see JJ+ here, which they might be a little passive with.

    Also, was A5 SOOTED?

    definitely not spew

however I think your preflop 3bet was much too big, I'd raise to 1.1 or 1.2.

FriskyPirate doesn't seem the type to do something without good reason, he probably raised so much because he thought it would easily get called or else he wouldn't have even mentioned shoving over.

preflop 3b waaay to large, and pushing all in pre would be a great way to make less money. Also, you're range for both players is too tight. They are definitely doing this with more than just JJ+ and AK. Also, KK and QQ are probably unlikely, as many players would 4b push these hands

So the blind squirrel found a nut...big deal. Don't be results oriented. If he wants to call your PFR with A5, I'll stack off with him EVERY TIME with AA.

Unlucky, sounds like you ran into a donk on a lucky day. At least you don't seem to be raging which is my normal reaction when muppets get lucky.

    Nh, onto the next.

PF size is baaaaaaaaad, $1.50 at the most.

Remember, we want to get value/charge our opponents but not at the expense of blowing all of their weaker hands out of the pot.
