Don't slowplay sets at $10NL.

40 hands aren't going to tell you much that's meaningful... but it's possible he's calling pretty wide as, well, he has money in the pot. And that "wide" is going to include a lot of Axs,Kxs,Qxs,suited-connectors/gappers/2-gappers. Sh!t you don't like by the Turn.

Your flop raise lets him come along for damn near pot odds w/out considering any implieds if he's on a flush draw (.55 into 1.90 or 3.5:1 ... and he only needs 4.1:1 to call for 1 more street). Make him pay... I'd prolly go around $1.50.

Then see what happens...

If he's still in on the Turn and checks to me, I may check it back for pot control as a bunch of his calling range hits.

If he then follows up with the pussy $1 bet, I'm calling all day.

As played, no way I'm folding the River, altho' I would in no way be surprised to see a flush at showdown.

I'm sure there are plenty of other players that would lead the turn, shove the river...
