25NL 10,000 hand check up

Welp, I reached 10k hands bonuswhoring at 25NL and thought it was time to get some general advice. Aside from an unfortunate foray into the pounds tables and a recent 2 buy-in downswing over the last 800 hands it's been pretty good. I'm glad I switched from limit.

My take: I could probably tighten up some-- get more selective (ie fold them preflop) playing the suited connectors and suited Aces. My position stats show that I'm not using position well since my VPIP and PFR stats are pretty flat no matter my position outside of the blinds (why is my winrate on the button so low?). At least I know when to quit post-flop as I'm still net positive outside the blinds. I need to raise more in position; the thing is-- I tend to seek out loose-passive tables and limp with SC's, KQ, QJ, JTs, Axs after everyone else has limped to see what develops on the flop. Raising in position with these hands doesn't seem to thin the field much on these tables and bloats the pot. Once the VPIP drops to below 25% I unclick Auto-post blinds and if it stays below that, I'll leave (unless there are 2 loose players to my right that seem to stay in too long and will call c-bets and fold to a 2nd barrel).

The glaring problem here appears to be your blind play. You evidently defend way too much and spend way too much on hands you half-hit or trying to push people out. I would adopt a "dump the blinds" strategy. If you wouldn't play the cards from UTG, then why play them from the blinds. Most people say "I can see the flop cheap." First, you're not folding to a raise (which isn't cheap) and 2nd you appear to be playing Park Place prices from Baltic Avenue real estate (I assume you've played Monopoly, if not you've overpaying from that position.).

Those stats are actually pretty good. The only things I see are--

Don't complete the SB as much. 50% is way too high. Get it down to 30% or under.

Raise more preflop. This gives you more fold equity on the flop by repping a good hand. Try to raise around half the hands you play PF. You could be 9-11% PF raise with your vp$ip. Speaking of which, you could tighten up a bit, but I don't think you are overly loose. Raising PF with say, 99, if you normally don't may be uncomfortable, but you still need to play it strongly. Rep the A on the flop and be careful if called. And if you start raising more, they will know its not JJ+/AJ+, etc.....and you'll get more action when you flop your set on a A9J flop.

You may not be paying quite enough attention to position. I have 18/9 stats overall but my button stats are 27/12 and my utg stats are something like 11/6, and I think that's closer to ideal.

Incidentally, don't be scared of the £ tables. Is this Crypto? Because I play both (£ out of preference) and to be honest the difference in skill is less than the difference in value, if you see what I mean.

One thing about completing the SB-- when it's a 0.15/0.25 structure with only one limper you're getting 6.5:1 odds to see a flop. Add another limper or two and you're getting close to 10:1 odds. I may be overdoing it, but it seems worthwhile to see a flop with suited/unsuited connectors and suited Aces with 10:1 odds. Eh, I'll have to dig deeper into what I'm doing in the SB and if I'm just leaking money. I don't do this on Party 25NL with a 0.10/0.25 structure.

What should I do with position? I could artificially pump my PFR stats by raising KQs and ATs on the button or CO (I'll open raise with these but not with multiple limpers) but I don't know if that'll be more chip spew. The crypto tables can be so passive that sometimes I'll raise AJs with 2 limpers on the button, hit the A on the flop and be outkicked by someone UTG who limped AK/AQ.

Biondino-- the Pounds thing is a mental block for me. My stats were much prettier before May when I had my inevitable 8 buy-in downswing (I think I was close to 15ptBB/100 hands back then). My experiment playing the pounds tables coincided with this and I've been gunshy about going back. One thing that also deters me is that the rake correspondingly goes up (it caps at what-- close to US$5?).

There is nothing here that says you shouldnt be able to continue to win att hese stakes and move up when you have the bankroll.

Btw, i havent been able to log into crypto for 6months, has anyone had problems with their software?

My point was that they cap the rake at 3 units of currency, bet it US$ or pounds.
Win a pot worth US$100 total, you pull in US$97 with a US$3 rake.

Win a pot worth $100 on a pounds table (54 pounds roughly, figure $0.54=1GBP) and the rake is 2.7 pounds-- or US$5 and you pull in $95. Not a terribly huge figure, but that's 66% more in rake than you'd be paying in US$. Just a thought (and something else to keep me from going back and getting reamed at the pounds tables for now).

No, it's been fine for me all this time. Did you try an uninstall/reinstall?

No, it's been fine for me all this time. Did you try an uninstall/reinstall?

i spent 6hrs following a multitude of instructions from their support group and i havent been able to login at all. At least they cashed me out from all their sites but no accessto like $200 in free money per month sucks ass.
