At the higher stakes, its just about avoiding too many sharks. More than 2 good players ruins a table.

6max is not about camping for hands. It's about playing in boarderline situations and making the right decision. All the decisions are close since weaker hands, like top pair, are often good. The key is to make your opponent make these decisions becuase they usually choose wrong. Playing passively will kill you. I am always raising/betting for information becuase info is precious. You'll see that if you raise with AKs UTG, you'll get called by the BB with 89o. So, when the flop comes T high and you have AK, you can't really be certain you're ahead. BUT what you can be certain of is that a pair of 9s 8 kicker can't call a pot bet or a pot raise.

On the other hand, I see people who can make incredible amounts of cashs quickly and consistantly in them. It just seems like you have to be a near maniac to hold you own . I've always had crazy respect for anyone who can make there living at those, and I would love some tips on how to. Everytime I try I get wiped out quickly.
Also, it's more fun than full table becuase there is a lot less emphasis on preflop-hand selection and a lot more on being tricky post flop.
