I think you stand a better chance of falling victim to a shark attack at a 6 max table. It is much easier to isolate you that way. At a full ring, you can sit back and only wait for premium starting hands and great flops. If you are a really good player, I think 6 max is the way to go. I'm not good enough for it yet myself, although I do fairly well in SNG's once they get down to 6 and less.
Lots more bluffing and mediocre hands are betting at you in 6 max.
