Just the same as any other spot - you put your opponent on a continuing range to your shove, and you stove it to figure out what's the worst hand you can do this with. He got this far with his Tx so he's not gonna fold to a 1/2 pot shove probably.

I think there are two types of fish/whales like this.

Type A: That call almost all flops and turns, and fold tons of rivers (even if draws brick - granted they could have the draw themselves)

Type B: That call almost all flops and turns, and never fold rivers.

Figuring out a fish's river tendency is pretty important. Lately I'm finding that any fish I play against (which is pretty rare these days), generally just call down tons, call down draws and fold rivers when draws brick. So I've been triple bareling v wide vs them when draws brick out and c/f rivs when they get there.

Most fish have such a wide range that their range really can't handle a triple. I also think most fish fall under Type A. Obviously if it's Type B I'm probably only even double barreling a very strong range that I can triple as well.

I think you only need to see one hand where villain calls a river triple barrel to conclude that he will call triples wide.
