AK in the BB ($10NL).

Default AK in the BB ($10NL).

UTG was 32/7 over 94 hands, and Button was 43/13 over 79 hands. Button had min-raised a few times, but hadn't really shown anything down. Do I just flat call the flop bet here? I have trouble putting $10NL players on ranges sometimes, but I thought KQ could be a possibility for Button. He could also have a weaker K, something like KJ or KT.

    Hold'em No Limit ($0.05/$0.10)

    UTG: ($11.01)
    UTG+1: ($7.70)
    CO: ($10.99)
    Button: ($10.86)
    SB: ($7.37)
    Hero: ($10.63)

    Preflop: Hero is BB with A , K .
UTG calls $0.10, 2 folds, Button raises to $0.20, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.90, UTG calls $0.80, Button calls $0.70

    Flop: ($2.75) Q , K , 6 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, Button bets $1.60, Hero ??

I'm totally happy with being valuetowned here.

Also, if it checks through on the turn, I'd bet just about every river in the world.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

If I call the flop bet and UTG folds, should I bet a safe turn, or just check? I want Button to bet again with a weaker hand, but I don't want to give him a free card if he checks behind. I'm never quite sure what to do in these situations.

You mean "I should have lead out to take down this large pot and have loads of equity against a probably calling range thus extracting tons of value from my hand"?

def bet flop. you're more likely to scare the fish away by checking flop and betting turn if they go unimproved because they're like darn looks like my A2 might not actually improve...seriously, you're playing against terrible players who will call you down with any Q, any A, any J9 or equivalent bs...

Don't make the game any harder. Just value town them.
