Default AK on button. Should have re-raised?

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP3 ($1.95)
    CO ($2.12)
    Hero (Button) ($1.52)
    SB ($1.75)
    BB ($1.40)
    UTG ($0.37)
    UTG+1 ($1.31)
    MP1 ($3.23)
    MP2 ($2.01)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, K
    2 folds, MP1 bets $0.07, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.07, 2 folds

    Flop: ($0.17) 9, 3, J (2 players)
    MP1 bets $0.12, Hero folds

    Total pot: $0.17 | Rake: $0.01

I have never played with this guy before so no history.

Should I have re-raised pre with this hand? AK is strong but it is a drawing hand and for that reason I have been reluctant to get it in pre flop. Is this a mistake?

I folded the flop because I am pretty much playing a "fit or fold" strategy on the flop and I figured I didn't have the odds to call.

This could easily be a standard c-bet. Should I have re raised the flop or is that a maniacal play?

If I had re-raised and been called and villain then made a pot sized bet on this flop how would I approach such a situation?

    Thanks.

calling and 3betting pre are both ok in my opinion.

i 3bet for value when my hand is ahead of his range and i think he is calling worse then mine and as a bluff/semibluff when i want him to fold better hands then mine. but if you 3bet pre, you have to know what to do if he 4bets you.

on flop, also i think foldind is ok, but calling is not that bad since he probably bets all his preflop range. i would call flop cause we have a backdoor flush, backdoor straight and 6 outs over his PP, so i'd call and reevaluate turn cause we are IP.
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

without history, I raise pre by default, can't say that flatting is bad though.

and like what razvan said, both folding and calling flop is fine.

call or reraise pre is fine. fold flop is fine.

i usually want at least a little gauge of how tight a villain is playing before i get fancy about calling a flop like this. AJ/KJ is going to cause you some problems if you hit a pair on the turn.

i dont like marginal situations without a read.

calling preflop is fine but i would lean towards 3betting for value. on the flop you've got the backdoor nutFD and backdoorSD, plus overcards so a call is close. For example if villain is TAG type let's say his PFR Range is something like 77+,A9s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KJo+ vs our AsKc on the 9h3sJs flop we have 42.29 against his 57.71 equity.

calling or 3betting pre is both ok.
The flop could have missed him as well so I'm floating to the turn to re-evaluate his actions.
