What we are getting at is that in poker there is not a special strategy or secret to winning. It all depends upon the type of game you're playing, position, size of the blinds, stack size, how many players, your image, their image, and then the cards. I probably left out bunch of other stuff as well. Each hand that you are dealt can be played in many different ways depending upon the situations that I listed above. People are giving you advice here you're just not seeing it. Seek knowledge from posts at FTR by doing a search of a subject that is giving you trouble. Like "how to play AA". Get your hands on some books. I would go down the list under the book review section and start reading the top ranked books. Get into a habit of posting your hand histories that you had trouble with.

I relate poker to golf. Everyone is searching for the secret or that magic move to make the ball go where they want it to go. But, everyone is different and each situation you face on the course is different. So there's not one specific move or secret that will work for every situation or type of person. Same with poker.
