APL question from a newbi...

I'm looking to get started in the world of poker...but don't want to put up cash until I've established my game... Are the APL events completely free or what ? What other leagues etc should I look into ?

most poker software offers daily freerolls where you can win real money without paying an entry fee. i don't know what the apl is.

I think LeFou plays APL in Dallas. Yes. It's totally free. But they usually take place in bars, and the beer ain't free. I usually spend as much on my tab as I would in a normal tournament. And in a normal tournament, I can win my money back.
