My two cents... w/ the caveat that I struggle with large overpairs...
Hand 1:
- I would hit the flop bet harder. $4 into 3.90 as you've got the FD on the board.
- When he bets 1/2PSB after the 3rd club drops on the Turn, what do you put him on? I don't like the check/call after your aggression PF & on flop.
- Then on the river, you're facing a possible made flush AND a scary straight card drops. And you only have KK. I'm guessing you pushed the River to represent the straight? Problem I have with that is I read villains Turn bet as value (rather than trying to keep someone off the flush draw... would expect a larger bet if he had a set) so a made flush is def in his range... which means he doesn't care if you made the straight.
I'd lead out the turn and then C/F the river to a large bet.
Hand 2:
- You're semi-bluffing w/ your OESD into a 5-way pot OOP in the flop. You're at least 4.75:1 against, and once MP2 raises u, your odds are blown to hell. Fortunately, u hit one of your outs on the Turn.
- I don't like min-raises, so prolly would have RR MPs turn bet to 4.80 and then pushed to his RR. But there's no way I'm not getting the money in on this one.
- The river pairing is unfortunate but is what it is.
Okay... now I'll let better players than me give u some info u can REALLY use!![]()
