Anyone playing much rush poker? I've only played 2.5k hands but I'm up 10 buy ins at 50nl and loving it. Due to the lack of data villains have on me I basically play like a maniac and bluff nonstop and get away with it. People seem very slow to adjust.

Anyone have any experience of rush? Not seen much around in the way of sstrategy posts regarding it.

good fucking luck. i had a killer one last june which lasted for about 5 weeks total. i went to the doctors numerous times, was on pks, ear drops, antibiotics, etc. i even had to miss ftr's vegas trip () because i couldn't get on a plane. it eventually cleared up, but if you haven't gone in for antibis yet i suggest doing that.

You def. go see a doctor for that. Can be many things and you don't want to leave that unattended, it's a bad place for infections (close to the brain). You're probably in for 1 week/10 days antibiotics at least.

Another one of the managers I work with has/had same problem. Today he went to the doc and within 45 minutes they drained his ear drums and put in tubes. He's a happy camper now. Wish they would have done it three weeks ago, would have saved the rest of us from listening to his whiny asss!

I've been smoking it a fair few years now, long enough to know having little is far worse than having none. You look at your last gram and think "how the fuck will I survive" and then after it's gone and you're no longer stoned, you remember it's a psychological addiction, not a physical one, and as such there are no mood swings so long as you keep smoking fags (yes we really call them that here).

Crisis is over now anyway, I bought some. I can't play poker without a smoke, seriously, I'm much more prone to tilt without it. I think I sacrifice a little mathematical accuracy, but at micros I find reasonably accurate estimates are sufficient, and the pro is I take a bad beat like a stoner, ie smoke more and forget it even happened. When I'm not stoned, bad beats bug me for longer.

I hesitated before checking, because I thought about leading. I thought there was a good chance somebody would stab at it, and I could raise looking like a flush draw. (I have no clue what somebody would put me on if I did that, but thats what I thought of)

When the Ace hit and I got raised I thought I was up against Ax against the fish. I thought he was raising, because I missed my draw or he had Aces up. I was shocked to see the old 25o. Seeing that hand just set me off... the deep end...

Got 15th out of 1000+ for $15,000 prize pool. I was in 9th I think, and I planned on folding out, but I can't fold QQ pre can I??? Damn wish I did though lol They are already at final table, and I easily could have been there... Raising probably cost me 3x as much prize money in just 5 minutes.

Anyone with a pulse (i.e. me) will ship a seat at a 40% clip and people familiar with SNGs who suck at poker (GMML) will win at a 50%+ clip.
