I got into the last 99 of a hubbles holdem tournament on pokerstars, I advanced to the weekly round 2 2000 prize pool tournament, i went out, coundnt catch cards worth playing with at all. And i got to the last 50 in a hockey challenge round 1 on pokerstars, im in the semi final now, it plays in 5 days im pumped lol

Played a local cash game for the first time, the other night, and actually went home up $15 from my original $20.

I bought in with $10, turned it into 123 but finished up 30something.... should have milked the profits instead of giving it all back!!!! Lesson Learned.

I won a tournament! My 3rd biggest cash ever. €1 entry, and €64 payout for first.
I have also learnt how to make profit at 2nl ring games now. Boy its hard work, but I can average almost +$1/hr I think. Just need to remember to play when I am awake, not asleep.

Won my first live MTT. I took a really bad hit to my chip stack at the start but didn't panic, just waited until I had some good cards and managed to double up.

After that I played some of the best tournament poker I've ever played, really focused and a lot more aggressive than usual. Made it to the final table as one of the short stacks. Everyone was so tight as they payed 7 of 72 and there were 9 left I made a real effort to blind steal as much as possible. Made the money, doubled up and managed to win the thing. Not much money won for first by most people's standard's, but it meant a lot to me.

I managed to pull off a 4th place finish in the NLHE Freeroll on Pokerstars (out of 9000) which got me a ticket into this mornings Round 2 - giving me a shot at real money.

i won seat in $2000 freeroll and won 40 cents and grinded it up over $4 in 10 cent tourneys and sit&go's.I know this is penuts to most of you,but i done it with no way of putting money on pokerstars.I plan to move up when i get over $10

Have managed to finally play decent online poker. Not an easy thing when you're an old casino vet like me, and only played live until recently. Figuring out these forums too. Let's call that an accomplishment as well, for now. Still don't know how people play 20 tables.

I won on Expekt 99$ i was second! (400$ added closed MT)
I won on Titan SnG 1$+1c 30person first 12$.
Closed MT second 56,50$.

I won 50$ on hungarian forum because i was the most activest user in January.

i won my first money prize yesterday!it didnt roll into the hundreds though!!more like cents!!i finished in the top hundred of the juno invitational on pokerstars .i was delighted with myself,70cents in the bank!!

but every great journey starts with the 1st step!hopefully ill never have to deposit money in2 my account!

I took 2nd in a 1$ rebuy tourney on Full Tilt with 304 people in it. It added $304 to my roll. It was my first 2nd in a tourney of that size.

Ever since I started lurking at FTR my game has taken a complete 180... I was down to like 15% of my original BR and now I'm right around where I started, actually making money and then dipping below the break even line due to varience. This place is awesome; now I'm just trying to get 10 posts so I can submit links so I can post HHs.

i mostly play tournaments .. my best result ever is 2nd place in 20000 sunday guarantee on merge network .... took 3700$ .... but when i think that i began the final heads up with 400000 and the last guy 200000 its a shame i didnt took 5500$ 1st place

i won a $4 satellite to a $40 satellite to $80 sniper tourney were payed 45 places came in 60th but had one bounty for $20 so after 3 tourneys and 12hrs of time made $16 yeah!!!!!!!

Almost ready for 25NL

Cleared my deposit bonus today and finally had a solid day at 10nl. Bankroll is on the ups!

I just placed 4th in the O.F.C. $5 buyin MTT on Fulltilt just over a week ago which gave me back-to-back 4th place finishes in those tourneys (winning a combined total of over $1,400). I finally now feel that I'm comfortably rolled to be playing the kind of mtt buyins I'd prefer to be in ($26 & up) and can kiss the micros goodbye.
What a relief.

Well today I finally decided to bite the bullet and make the move upto 5nl. I had played 52k hands of 2nl with decent results. I was a little short of funds on the bankroll but just decided to go for it.
Well after my first session I am now properly rolled for 5nl with $106.85. My plan is to stick with 5nl until I am properly rolled for 10nl with $300. I have set a stop loss of $40 so if my bankroll gets down that low I will be moving back down but not until then.
Oh side note I had my biggest pot won tonight during my short session at 5nl. So here's a little brag

Since I joined FTR in January, I've increased my BR from $161 to $311 today. This is from playing in only 78 SNGs, mainly $3.40 single table turbos along with a couple of $2.20 - 180-man turbos. Thanks everyone on FTR for all your help!

And even better all of my BR came from 4 free-rolls I entered on Poker Stars that netted me a whopping $7.50. One of these days I'm going to post a big MTT score!

i won three sit n gos for 60 cents and turned my last 60 cents into 7 dollars.

i also placed ninth in a freeroll with 2500 and 12 with 7500 hundrede people in it

i just start playing freerolls to build a strong bankroll... then i go to these tourneys whit a small buy-in...

i love poker just won a big hand and wanted to brag about it lol sry if you lost but i am a winner today bye guys

It's called the new depositor's $20K freeroll on Titan. When you deposit you get one token to the NDF (which I used in the first week, big mistake) a couple more tokens to the NDF satellites, and a token to a RB+AO thing that they do twice a month. So I still have another NDF satellite token and I can do it all again, try to beat teh high score

I've gotta say it's really all about patience, discipline and to paraphrase Stacks, Spenda et al, "NEVER F****ING MINRAISE!" All these things I've learned by absorbing the posts here.

I actually sat out the first 15 min or so as an, *um*, emergency came up (never start playing right after brekkie!) so I sat back down to a 7-player table, which is close to the 6-max I'm used to.

Once I built my stack a little with premium hands and proper raising, I started to really push the little stacks one by one. Now I know what it's like to be the big stack, always stealing, shutting down aggressors with re-raises etc. I WAS A GOD!!!

Ok, it was only the $1.00 +.20 on PS, but after so many 2nd and 3rd place finishes, my 1st 1st feels good!

Thanks to the regs here for all the knowlege I'm acquiring.

Small fry but I placed 2/19 in £40+£5 ($67) Freezeout at my local B&M for £190 ($283).

Mine dont even compare to any of yours,but On my first game on a new site(it was a $1000 freerolL) i took 6th for $27 Now i just need some input of how to build a bankroll out of only $27 any suggestions?

Party 'cos that's somehow where I started. Sometime soon I'm hopefully going to deposit $600 at FullTilt for their 100% bonus and some eventual rakeback.

Cos I was playing only one table and felt like I had time. Stayed cos there is a mine of information here.

Yep.
Goals. Work on my game and try and close my biggest leaks. Learn to crush the limits I'm playing at. Eventually start to understand poker a little. Build a roll - I cleared my accounts to zero in July. Deposited fifty at party and am trying to turn that into a thousand. Decided to withdraw 400 if I got above 500, did that a few days ago. So now trying to turn 100 into 1000... Then. Do some bonus whoring/rakeback playing. Draw out more profit. Hopefully roll myself for 1-2limit and 50nl. Become better at 50 player sngs (I'm good at reaching the last twelve, bad at getting
to the last 3).

how can you help? well, I've started posting and am happy to have the flaws in my game and weaknesses of my observations pointed out.

First +$1k month ever!

It may not be alot to some people but for only playing online for 3 months now. I won $51.25 last night playing NL Holdem online. I have taken my bankroll from $25.00 up to $126.00 now.

I Just wanted to say that I love this feature and a wonderful Idea.

Never had a losing month in 4 years, and only one break even month

Up to $124 on cakepoker through 4nl. Got a free 50 bucks and been grinding it up slowly over the last few months. Just started taking it seriously the last few days, hoping to make it up to where stacks is at(I can dream ).

I'm on a bit of a poker high so I want to make my first FTR Winner's Circle post!

I know it's not much compared to you bankrollers, but came in 1st in a $60 deepstack at my local cardroom, payed $600 for only having 22 players entered.

I coached my wife to a 11th place finish in the $7k guarantee with rebuys. on P.Stars a couple of weeks ago.$8.80 buy in and one rebuy she was so stack by break i didn't think 3k in chips was going to make much difference since it wasnt going to affect her M-zone more than a couple of points.She should of made the final table but River Stars being ,,well River Stars her AQ suited had a dominating lead over A9 off suit was well... rivered by the 9.Anyway, it's her bigest cash in an MTT and now she's pumped just wanted to brag on my girl.look at her rankings on topshark for P.Stars she's got better numbers than me,the coach.!!She needed very little help 2 to 4 hands tops she was going to call with that i told her to fold.her screen name is FatBotemGirl.she took $366 in this score..
