@ bikes: It was comments in your videos that got me thinking I might be playing my blinds completely wrongly.
I had been going from a "learn from the pros" video tip from FT. Someone said for the small blind, take 1/(# of players) for your range. So 11% at FR and 17% at 6max. Then ramp up your range as you get to the button, where you should be playing ~33%. This helped me out a lot when I was just a guppy and then again when I was playing SNG's and constantly adjusting to shorter and shorter handed play.
However, now you got me thinking that I'm "lighting money on fire" so I've started defending more. I'm not sure how wide to defend and should I only adjust for ATS situations and not pots limped from EP/MP?
Are there any threads on FTR that discuss blind defense?
If not, bikes, would you care to open a discussion? I know that you have a better grasp of this concept than most.
