    Default Bluffs

Hello everyone, back again. I play mostly online either 25NL or 100NL. Just kinda got to thinking the other day. Of course with the 100NL games, you dont see as many river or full hands. Most bets and folds are done on the flop or the turn. When someone goes over the top or all in what percentage of these would you guess are bluffs?

    Have a good one.

I'm pretty new to holdem, but i would say only 5-10% are straight up bluffs. The rest are semi-bluffs or guys that have the TPTK that don't want someone to draw out. Someone who has the nuts on the flop would not over bet or go all in because they want callers.

5-10 is waaaay to conservative. At 100, when I'm raising, it's almost 50% bluffs and 50 with a hand. Gotta keep 'em guessin. Of course, there are certain times where a raise will be a higher percentage bluff and other hands/situations where a raise is with a hand. But in a general sense, there's a lot more bluffin goin on than 1/10th the time.

    This is for 100NL, btw.

Are you usually bluffing "with an out", Brunson-style? Or are there a lot of stone-cold bluffs?

Into weakness or representing a strong hand with the board.
