exactly. you are "underrolled" for live play. but, if you have enough of a roll online that you dont have to move back down when you lose your $200 live...then, give it a shot.

i wouldnt shortstack live w/o a SUBSTANTIAL "live" roll because the variance is attrocious.

in fact, it can be said, imo, that you need more of a roll for live play anyway. remember the variance at the $5NL tables? remember the suckouts? all the people in raised pots? the absence of 3betting? when someone does 3bet, nothing happens? all the chasing of draws? the all-ins on the flop with overcards?

same shit happens live, but with a lot more money. just be forwarned. you should KILL these games long-term. the problem is you dont have the roll, or time, to be in it long-term, unless you plan to go to the casinos regularly. and then, it comes right back to the bankroll problem of being short for the live game.
