Hope I'm using the technically correct term.
But I read a book on low limit that recommended using a given table to calculate the value of your hole cards. The assigned value like AA=33%
2-2 = 13%, and they recommend that you only enter the pot PREFLOP if the call is less than that percentage of the pot preflop. Example I'm holding 2-2 and I can get in the pot for a call that equates to say 10% of the pot, therefore ok.
Anyone heard of this, and does it work?
