    Default Cold Calling/Isolating/low PP OOP

    When do you Cold Call?

I CC with Low/Med PP, and some suited connectors in multiway pots (in position)

    Isolating

I normally will steal in position with a hand such as K10o, but what if someone from UTG or mid Position limps? Do we still raise and isolate? or is this a fold?
Currently, my PFR range from position is tighter if there are limpers, as opposed to if I have a chance at stealing the blinds...

    low pocket pairs:
how do you play your low PP's from UTG?
if you open raise 22 from UTG, do you cbet alot of missed flops?
I currently do, but im finding that this may not be the best .

    lastly,
what range of PP do you call or re-raise with if you are 3bet preflop (out of position)

Are you talking about FR or 6max? Also, a lot of these are player/stack/board dependent obv. so you might want to be more specific.

    Anyways, in general:
    I cold call the same.

I raise limpers with a wide range in position. I'd use like my button range vs. one limper.

Low PPs in 6max always open. If you do open 22 in like FR or any game there's such a slight chance you can make it profitable without turning it into a bluff a lot...

The 3betting question is most player/stack dependent. In 6max I'd call with like JJ+, AK+ but this assumes 100bb stacks.

    22 - 88, w/ at least 15x effective stacks. Not much else.

I steal just as often with one limper, and nearly as often with 2. Depends on the limpers. A guy with 30/2 stats is pretty likely to be the 2nd limper with complete junk. I also want a hand that will play well against med/small pp's and sc's, like KQ or KJs or something. I'm pretty likely to try a steal against a TAGG who limped first since 22 - 77 is a HUGE part of this range.

At 10nl 6max, I raise all pp's from all positions, and cbet like a monkey, especially on AJx and KQx type of boards.

At 25nl 6max, I set farm more often (depends on table, stacks, villains, etc.) with 22 - 77 oop. But I raise all pp's from the CO and BTN in EVERY game I play. I also raise 22 over limpers and rep the big cards when they hit. It's more profitable at 10nl than 25nl by a fair margin

I call with 22 - TT, if I have 15x effective stacks, and no one else is left to act behind me. I ditch 22 - 88 or 99 if I'm getting squeezed and feel like the guy behind me might raise. Depending on villain reads, I 4bet with QQ and JJ sometimes, but mostly just flat call a 3bet. AA and KK I'm 4betting. You get called down enough with crap to make AA and KK insta-4bets, imo, at both 10nl and 25nl 6max.

BTW, just reread kmind's post. Good thoughts there, too. I'm set farming in 3bet pots when possible. I have a different recommendation than kmind likely 'cuz I play at Absolute a lot which allows 200bb buy-ins. So I get the 15x effective stacks pretty often. I think we basically agree that you need something like TT or better call a 3bet for value in an 80 - 100bb stack scenario.
