Default Did I play this right?

5-man SnG at Pacific. I'm sitting on JTo and the flop is 489 rainbow, 3 players. Minbet gets called around. Turn is a 5. First player (2nd small stack) goes AI and next guy (short stack) calls, going AI too. It's about 2/3 my stack to call.

    What would you do?

first, if i was not a blind and blinds were not big, i would've folded this preflop. but there is a 2/3 chance you were in a blind and blinds may have been decent so i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

yes, fold the turn. you'd be calling away more or less your whole stack and sacrificing your chip lead for a less than 20% chance of winning it all right there. Let this play out between those two and risk it all when you're a favorite, or at least not so far behind.

I dont have experience with a lot of SNGs but i play short handed ring games a lot and jack ten is worth playing, for me at least in such a short game. I play pretty loose aggressive though.

Yeah, as above. JTo isn't an awful hand in a 5-man game. IIRC, I was on the button, and neither player to my left had ever raised pre-flop.

Don't try to force anything so close to the money. Let your opponents knock each other out here.

I'll spill. I called. One guy was on A9, the other had K9. Let's see, my outs were any Q, J, T, or 7... total of 16 of 46 cards, so that was slightly better than the 2:1 I was getting on my money.

River was a 7 and I took it. Is my logic bad somewhere?

[everytime] You could fold, let A9 take the pot and have a decent stack to play 4 handed with.

    OR

[Most of the time] Lose OOTM

[The rest of the time] Take a big stack to 3 players left.

    Wastin' away again in margaritaville....
You have a j and a T so there are only 14 outs... still ~30% chance to river it... you were getting 2:1 and odds were 3:1 so according to pot odds you should fold.

There's also a chance that he had 67 and you were down to 8 outs.
