Hey all, I was wondering what the major differences between PL and NL are. I was reading up on the net somewhere and they were explaining that PL requires more postflop decisions simply because there are limited raises PF than in NL. The article went on to say that people should master NL before trying PL.

I understand that your aces can get screwed in early position in PL and that your pocket pairs can get in cheaper. Beyond that, what more is there that one considers when playing PL? Im really not seeing it as being that much of a difference at my stakes.

How about for those higher stakes you guys play at? Any reason to pick one or the other?
