Does C/R work as a semibluff or not?

For ex: You catch a nut flush draw on the flop (unpaired board). In a three-player or headup pot, it gets checked to the button who prices you out with a 1/2 to 2/3 pot bet (assume other players fold, and no implied odds with 3rd suit). Do you ever check-raise here?

Basically, is semi-bluffing only profitable in position? Also, is it profitible to semibluff (in position) at microstakes?

With the nut flush draw you usually have one or 2 overcard outs so I think it's okay to play this hand aggressively. Usually I'd lead out, and 3-bet if I am raised feebly and have 15 outs. I also like c-raising if opponent is known to take stabs at check-around pots.

Of course all plays are opponent-dependent, but whichever line one chooses the more aggression involved the better.

Unless I detect serious strength from opponent i normally play nut flush draws very aggro. If there's FE that is.

yeah its good to be aggressive most of the time. you can checkraise sometimes here or just lead out. like it was already said you usually have an overcard or 2 too giving you lots of outs.
