Default Easy spot. best play for maximal extraction?

Villain is 30/5. No other reads.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.02 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP1 ($1.48)
    MP2 ($.22)
    MP3 ($2.19)
    CO ($2.03)
    Button ($1.76)
    SB ($2.69)
    BB ($2.17)
    UTG ($1.38)
    UTG+1 ($2.13)
    Hero ($2.31)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with Q, K.
    2 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.08, 3 folds, BB calls $0.06.

    Flop: ($0.25) A, T, J (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.25, MP3 calls $0.25, BB folds.

    Turn: ($0.75) 3 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.75, MP3 calls $0.75.

    River: ($2.25) 4 (2 players)
    Hero ???

The pot is mine and I want all his chips. It seems that in a lot of similar situations, I have been shoving only to see villain fold. So the question is, for maximal extraction, is shoving still the best play or is this a good spot to check to induce a bluff? Thoughts? This is FR 2NL.

shove, unless you have a read that villain will bet into weakness.

but, the draw missed. and under cards hit the turn and river. i doubt you get much here anyway. but, he did call the bets, so keep betting. i just think its unlikely he will bet if you check.

in a deeper stack situation, you dont necessarily want to shove here. you would bet more of a half to full pot bet.

but, since you only have about $1.25 left...and thats barely more than half the pot...you shove it all.

a lot of getting called on this board is luck. it doesnt matter that you hold the nuts, it only matters that villain holds something 2nd best and isnt going anywhere.

    or overvalues his TP.

One tactic that sometimes works for me is to back off on the river but still make a bet. The goal is to make yourself look weak and scared on the river. You already bet 75 cents on the turn, and got a call. What will the villain think if you bet only about 25-30 cents on the river? With remaining stack sizes as they are, maybe he thinks you would fold if he then reraises you all in. For this to work, you have to bet a little less than half the effective stack sizes, I think, so that his all in at this stage in the hand would instill fear in you.

It would only be a semi-bluff for him anyway, as he apparently has a decent hand based on his turn call. If he doesn't want to gamble, he might still call your small river bet. If he folds, he would have obviously folded to your all in.

sounds like a textbook river-value-bet to me.

Btw, ty for potting the flop/turn. See how easy it is to stack someone on the turn/river when there's much less behind.
