Also, FWIW, if you come into the IRC you can pretty much get the exact same "benefits" jyms is describing for free. It can be tough of beginners, but once you find your niche (or nish) everything generally goes smoothly.

I like the idea of playing more games, though obviously it will take longer.

Keep it the same as always imo. If we want to do round robin, we shouldnt have a 16 man field. Like spoon was saying in IRC it would probably go better with 2 groups of 5 then it would with 4 groups of 4. But I still wouldn't like it.

Let's keep the original format that we all signed up for, but we could still discuss the possibility for the next time.

But say if someone loses the first two matches, they have less / no incentive to play well because they've already been knocked out, giving the player he's playing last a huge advantage? That's if they bother turning up to play the last match at all.

I really really like the round robin idea for next time, but since all the money was shipped under this format, i say we get underway.

TOMORROW IS THURSDAY AUG. 26, THAT MAKES THE DEADLINE TO FINISH YOUR FIRST ROUND MATCHES THURSDAY SEPT. 2ND AT 11:59pm EST.

If there's a reason why a match can't be arranged by then, then pm me your lame ass excuses and i can extend it 3 DAYS to SUNDAY SEPT. 5th, but that's all I'm gonna give you.

Remember that both parties are responsible to arrange the matches and both parties are liable to get eliminated if you don't make the deadlines, so get your shit together!

These rules might get slightly more lax once we get to the final 4, but for now please don't hold up all 16 (or 8) people in the tourney or else the tourney won't end til christmas (srz)

Is it just me or is it kind of suspicious that Surviva, a player participating in the tourney himself, is choosing his own match & bracket. I don't like it one bit.

Note about above sequence: that set the SEEDING, not the bracket itself.

In other words, the second name in the list is Settecba, so he is the number one seed. He plays the number 16 seed, supahole, NOT the number 2 seed IllFavor!

There were a few ways to do this, including counting me as the second seed (since i'm first in the list and first on the list got a two), or just not doing seeding at all just having the bracket be from top to bottom, so i decided i'd clarify
