    Talking HEM question

Hey just had a quick question for anyone that could help...I have HEM on my desktop but I want to start playing on my laptop...is there any way that I can transfer HEM and all of the hands I have saved on HEM on my desktop over to my laptop so that I can use either my desktop or laptop and still have a HUD? Thanks.

you can for sure use it on both PCs, just install it on the other one. You may have to email them to get the reg code to work on both but IIRC it's free.

Moving the DB I'm sure is possible, but the one time I tried it was so annoying I just gave up.

I'd head out to the HEM forums.

use your same key code and you just have to transfer the database as often as you want to update. Might be a pain in the ass so you may just want to designate your lap top as your poker machine?

The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

Please see this guide to get HEM up and running.

You can create a backup of your database on one computer and restore it to another.

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/418/Backup+%26+Restore

The backup & restore utility in HoldemManager will only work for SQL 8.4.

However you can also create a backup file in pgadminIII and then restore it to pgadminIII, read: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Backup & Restore Database

Alternatively you could also just copy your \HMArchive and import that to your laptop.

You can run HEM on up to two computers at any one time.

We have also launched a new online form for resetting your own serial codes.

This can be used to clear a code so that it can be used on a different pc or clear a code if your hardware profile changes and it doesn’t allow you to continue.

Please go to Hold'Em Manager Poker Tracking and Analysis Software and signup with a new login name and password or use your existing account. After that, simply navigate to “Upload License Code” and you can quickly add your serial code and reset it whenever you need to.

If you don’t have a HM account already just create one by clicking on the create account link. If you forgot your password please use the forgot password feature. If you forgot your username or the password retrieval was unsuccessful send a new email to [email protected] and they will forward the details, we do not have access to this information in support so you must send a new email to sales.
