i guess in the moment i assumed he had a 9 or possibly a T betting for protection, turn improved my equity so i jamm?!?! lets hear how everyone else would of played this, call turn - fold river? fold turn? i dont get in spots like this very often, so these are where im losing more money than anywhere else. most of the time i would raise fishy limpers with a hand like this but for some reason i decided to limp behind. was playing a few tables so it s hard to remember exactly. whats our turn play AS PLAYED, dont just put "raise pre or fold" lol thats not what im asking. I have another example too.

on flop its a def. fold i dont know what the hell i was thinking, just mashing mindlessly spewing i guess..my question is about preflop..

i think folding pre is ok, 4betting would be better to balance with my nut hands, i have some blockers, no good ones but still something. what do you guys think?

hand 2 fold pre. No need to balance at these stakes imo....no one is going to notice enough to do this. He's prob not 3betting too light. Even if he is, KJ is prob towards the bottom end...

H1 i'd prefer folding even if we are shorthanded.
as played just call flop, w/ the size of his turn bet you have no FE when you raise AI and not enough equity when he calls AI so in my opinion turn is -EV. you need ~40% equity when he calls your range and have no FE on turn vs his range. your equity vs his range is top 30%

H2 fold preflop, as played fold flop.
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

    1. Flop is a really easy fold. Your draw is a piece of shit, your hand is a lame bluff catcher with hardly any equity 3 way here. On the turn calling is obviously +EV but villains range looks pretty damn strong here so fold equity is likely minimal.

    2. Easy fold preflop. Defending KJ to squeezes oop is a great way to burn loads of money at these stakes. No idea why you want to 4 bet. You have no need whatsoever to invest this many big blinds to balance anything when villain isn't even 3 betting/squeezing that lightly. Flop is horrible as you point out.

Yeah you really need to find your fold button before you lose your roll. I have no idea what you're doing on the flop in H2 but that's as bad a call you're ever going to make. 3x the pot with two overs? Honestly, he's probably shoving this flop because he has notes that you suck.

Whatever inspired that flop call in H2, address is very quickly. If you were tilted, then walk away from the computer. If you were drunk, don't play poker drunk. Whatever, you have to fold this spot unless you don't give a shit about whether you win or lose. It's a really really horrible call. Pre flop is pretty easy fold too, the 3bet is pretty big here, we're almost always dominated.

H1 I'm also folding pre, though short handed after utg open limps, I don't think calling is disgusting. But yeah, c/f flop without a problem.

Hand 1 is a pretty easy fold on the flop as mentioned above.
Hand 2 belongs in that no money in microstakes thread.
