How do you figure BB/100

God my mind is fucked up I can pass calc but Im not sure on this.

So I was playing 10NL(.1BB) and I made $18.20 in 192 hands.
so BB=.2

so 190/100= 1.90
18.20/2=9.1

1.90X9.1= 17.29BB/100

That seems totally wrong lol

If a BB is 0.2, then you won 91 BB ($18.20 / 0.2)
You won 91BB in 192 hands, so 0.47BB/hand (91 /192)
You want to know your BB/100, so 0.47 * 100 = 47BB/100

Pretty elementary maths... This was a very good session for you but don't expect to make to sustain such a winrate... Only the very best players can maintain a winrate near 10bb/100

yeah that was a damn good session my first time playing 10NL on party I was 4 tabling(trying to clear a small bonus) I didnt get bad beated and folded when I was ahead bet/pushed when I was ahead. I didnt even egt that great of hands AK twice AA once JJ twice.

Yes its hard to make such a winrate consistently. Looking back at my records, I had a decent amount of +$30 sessions playing $10 NL.

The best session I ever had was +$77 in roughly 3 hours, two tableing. I have no idea how many hands it was but I would estimate somewhere between 400-500.

I get confused about something here with regard to BB/100.

Why is a BB in this case .2?
I thought that the BB meant Big Bet - as in Fixed Limit Big Bet - at a 5c-10c limit table, the BB is still 10c, right?

At $10 NL, the big blind is generally 10c...so why would you double that to figure a Big Bet for NL?

At limit a $.05/$.10 table has a big blind of $.05

The "big bet" is the $.10 where the bet doubles on the turn and river.

Nicely explained. Just a quick question; what exactly is the .47/100 saying? The .47 means he won .47 per BB?

No its saying he won .47 bets per hand, so 47 bets per 100 hands.

My brain was not working. I was looking at these fractions in front of me, trying to remember math classes from years ago. finally started just randomly guessing percentages to make things equal out.

I did get the right answer - just took me a little. When I could have just did BBs/Hands Played x 100.
